A calendar is not a performance
Life Calendar is Richland Manor’s activities page—intentionally different from “Daily Life,” “Everyday Life,” or “Community Life” used elsewhere. It describes the idea of a living calendar without inventing a fake weekly schedule of named events.
What to ask about programming
- Which activities are regularly offered today?
- Are programs adapted for different energy levels?
- How are spiritual or cultural preferences respected?
- Are outings part of current programming, or mainly on-site options?
- Can residents opt out without pressure?
Ordinary joys count
A favorite television show, a letter from a grandchild, a walk to a window with good light, a hymn, a card game, or a nap after lunch can be part of a good day.
